Jayalalithaa Effigy Found On An Electric Post
The effigy of AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa was found hanging on an electric post near a traffic signal in R S Puram in the city today. The effigy, with broomstick in one hand and a bucket in another, was brought down by police, which created some tense moments in the area for a few hours from 6 am, police said.The writing on the effigy warned against playing politics with reservation for Arundhatiyars and also to show the real strength of the community on later occasion. Investigations were on to find out those, who were behind this incident, police said.
