K.B.S. Vignesh, a third-year mechanical engineering student of Kumaraguru College of Technology, will attempt a national record through a biking marathon from Coimbatore to New Delhi. A release said he is doing so to create awareness on world peace and global warming. The marathon will begin at the college on August 12 and will conclude in Delhi on August 15. Mr. Vignesh will cover 2,400 km, traversing nine States. College Correspondent M. Balasubramaniam will flag off the event.
