Changes in train schedule at Coimbatore junction
Changes in train in Coimbatore station :
Coimbatore: In view of the construction of a new goods shed at Irugur, non-interlocked working of trains will be introduced at Irugur station from January 29 to February 3, a release from the Southern Railway - Palakkad Division said.
Hand signals
Non-interlocked working of trains required movement of trains at slow speed with hand signals instead of automatic ones. As a result, there would be changes in the train service schedule on January 29 and 31 (no change on January 30).

On January 29, Dhanbad - Alleppey Express (3351) was likely to be delayed.
On January 31, Bangalore - Coimbatore Express (2677) would run via Podanur.
Delay
Dhanbad - Alleppey Express (3351), Alleppey-Dhanbad Express (3352), Chennai - Coimbatore Kovai Express (2675) and Coimbatore - Chennai Kovai Express (2676) were likely to be delayed while passing through Irugur.
