`Life Skills and Self-development' programme

The PSG Rural Health Centre at Vedapatti and the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity held a training programme for adolescent girls, `Life Skills and Self-development.'A press release from the centre, where the programme was held, said that 53 girls studying from Eight Standard to undergraduate level participated.

The programme was aimed at helping the girls understand their strengths and weaknesses and also the importance of setting goals and achieving them.They were also oriented to physical and psychological changes during adolescence and provided awareness on reproductive biology.Training was also provided in relaxation and concentration techniques.
