NDCMPU got ISO certificate
Udhagamandalam: The Nilgiris Collector Santosh K. Misra has in a press note issued here on Wednesday said that the Nilgiris District Cooperative Milk Producers Union (NDCMPU) has received the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification.The Bureau of Indian Standards has given the certificate in recognition of the Union's production and supply of quality milk and milk products.Among the 17 AAVIN milk unions in Tamil Nadu, the NDCMPU is the third to obtain the ISO certification.Mr. Misra said that the Union had 108 societies and 35,486 members.
