Forex Futures Trading Started
Indian Rupee Forex Futures trading started at Coimbatore Capital, a trading member of National Stock Exchange, recently. D. Balasundaram, chairman of the company, said the exchange traded currency futures would help exporters and importers dealing with U.S. dollars reduce risks resulting from the change in the dollar-rupee exchange rate.
The small and medium-sized companies here would benefit. The availability of prices over 12-month period would help them, though most trading would be confined to contracts of near three months. Coimbatore Capital would conduct awareness meetings on exchange traded currency futures in the State.
