Integrated Township - Sahara City Homes Launched
Betting big on the growing purchasing power in the texcity and the export business potential of neighbouring hosiery town Tirupur, Sahara Prime City, the real estate arm of Sahara India Pariwar, has launched its flagship project, the ‘Integrated Township Sahara City Homes’ in Coimbatore. The project is a part of the plan to develop a chain of townships in 217 cities across the country. “This is our first integrated township project in South,” Sahara Prime City sales head Sunderlal said, adding that its Sahara Grace launched in Kochi is a residential complex coming up on a 15-acres area.The Rs 1,000-crore township project is coming up on Sathy Road, Visvaspuram, Saravanampatti, which is 10 km from Coimbatore. Spread on 113.33 acres, it will house 3,846 residential units. The township will offer one to five-bedroom residential units, independent row houses and bungalows. “The total residential built up area will be 49.7 lakh sq ft, while commercial area will be 4.51 lakh sq ft,” said chief general manager, planning, Asad Ahmad. “The cost of a flat will start from Rs 22 lakh and villas will cost a maximum Rs 2.4 crore,” said Mr Sunderlal claiming the group has done 30% booking. It has stopped booking villas because nearly 70 out of 100 planned villas are booked, he claimed.
“The company will maintain the township for the first ten years for a one-time payment of Rs 295 per sq ft,” Mr Sunderlal said.
