Home for Children and Adults, a centre for rehabilitation of children and adults with mental disability, was opened here on Sunday. The Non-Governmental organisation will offer residential as well as day care facilities to children and adults with schizophrenia, behavioural problems and multiple disabilities such as autism, Down’s Syndrome, and cerebral palsy. It will provide training in social skills, counselling for the residents as well as their family members, psychotherapy and nursing care.
