IAF's Motorcycle Expedition

Indian Air Force, 43rd Wing, Sulur, is organising a motorcycle expedition from October 13 to 17. A release from Squadron Leader Manoj Pillai said that the expedition would promote the vibrant spirit of IAF to attract the talented youth of Tamil Nadu to become part of the Force. The team would have 10 air warriors. The route for the expedition would be Sulur, Thanjavur, Kodiakkarai, Rameshwaram, Madurai and Sulur.

The team would reach out to the public and promote Air Force as a career option to the youth. It would distribute pamphlets to all the colleges en route. The expedition was one of the major events organised as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of IAF. En route schools and colleges could contact team leader Manoj Pillai on 98946-95251 for promotional materials/pamphlets regarding models/eligibility for joining the IAF. The expedition would be flagged off on October 13 at 10 a.m. by Station Commander, Group Captain B.K. Dash from 43 wing Air Force Station, Sulur.
