BU's Contribute For Tamil Elam
Teaching and non-teaching staff of Bharathiar University in Coimbatore have contributed a day’s salary towards the Sri Lankan Tamils Relief Fund. According to Vice-Chancellor G. Thiruvasagam, a demand draft for Rs.3.2 lakh will be handed over to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi in Chennai on November 1.
