Forest Officials Destroyed Ganja Crops
A special team of 50 forest officials and personnel raided Bomman Kutty on the Siruvani Hills on Saturday and destroyed ganja crops cultivated on about two acres. It is learnt that a couple of days ago when a team of forest personnel tried to raid the place, the cultivators reportedly opened fire at them. Following this, District Forest Officer I. Anwardeen deputed the 50-member team. A hunt is on for the cultivators.
