BJP Welcomes Superstar

Hoping to rope in tamil film star rajnikanth to boost its poll prospects in the coming lok sabha polls the bjp today said that the superstar should plunge into politics like telugu filmstar chiranjeevi as he enjoyed goodwill of the people in the state. it is high and appropriate time for rajnikanth to start his party since he had already earned goodwill from the people of tamil nadu s thirunavukkarasar bjp national secretary told reporters here. If he starts a political party like chiranjeevi in andhra pradesh we will definitely welcome it he said while reacting to some rajnikanth fans floating a party desiya dravida makkal munnetra kazhagam ddmmk in coimbatore.

however the bjp leader said it is up to the actor to decide when to start his own party. when asked whether bjp would go for an alliance if the actor starts his new party thirunavukkarasar said whether he launches a new party or joins our party we will welcome it . ike other actors in the state he rajnikanth can also serve the people through politics he said. when asked about bjp s possible alliance in tamil nadu for the parliamentary polls he said we will work for an alliance without congress the dmk and the communist parties . Reacting to the reports on the emerging possible alliance between bjp and aiadmk in tamil nadu thirunavukkarasar a former aiadmk minister said we and aiadmk share similar sentiments on sethusamudram project and amarnath issue and terrorism .
