BSNL Offer
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Coimbatore, has announced the introduction of zero/reduced fixed monthly charge plans in the telephone exchanges under rural areas where the exchange system capacity is less than 1,000 connections (rural exchanges where monthly rental is Rs. 50).According to a release from BSNL, there are two options.The first option will be lump sum charge (non-refundable) of Rs. 250, no fixed monthly rental charge for two years from the date of installation, no free calls and the offer is valid for 24 months.
The second will be no lump sum charge and the fixed monthly rental will be Rs. 20 for two years from the date of installation.Per call unit rate inclusive of service tax under both the options will be Re. 1, installation charge Rs. 200, security deposit of Rs. 250 for local, Rs. 500 for local/STD calling facility and additional security deposit for ISD will be Rs 1,000. Existing customers can also shift their connections under the new plans.
BSNL, Coimbatore, has announced the offer of “free Internet access” to Netone customers for a period of two months. During the period, the customers have to pay only the telephone access charge.The offer is valid up to October 31, 2008, on BSNL landline.
