Photography Exhibition On Nature And Wildlife
Osai, an NGO, is organising a photography exhibition on nature and wildlife at Corporation Zoo in VOC Park from October 3 to 12. A release said the exhibition was being organised since 2002 and the objective was to generate awareness on the wildlife treasure of Western Ghats among the students and the public. The exhibition besides reflecting the beauty of the wildlife and the landscape would also help in creating awareness towards the need for conservation measures. Special components of the expo this year would be showcasing the lifestyle of tigers, screening of wildlife documentary films and interaction session with wildlife experts. Osai is joining hands with Coimbatore Corporation and VOC Park Zoo, Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Ministry of Environment and Forests, and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Metropolis for conducting the exhibition.
