World Computer Conference At Italy
M.S. Mathivanan, chairman of the SSM College of Engineering, will present a paper on “Role of Indian Educational Institutions in Developing E-Skills for Global Economy” at the World Computer Conference to be held in Italy from September 7 to september 10. The conference will focus on information technologies and communications and sciences. About 2,000 delegates are expected to participate from 104 countries.
A release said Mr. Mathivanan, who is also the chairman of the Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council, will visit some of the European countries and hold discussions with textile importers. He will present a report to the Union Ministry of Textiles to improve cotton textile exports to these countries, the release said.
