Vetiver cultivation should be encouraged and information on the economic uses of vetiver must be disseminated, Bharathiar University Vice-Chancellor G.Thiruvasagam said here on Thursday.Inaugurating a training workshop on the cultivation and use of vetiver conducted by the School of Life Sciences of the university, he requested the teachers, staff and students of the university to get involved in promoting vetiver cultivation and further development activities.
