Mirchi mega summer @ kovai
Nearly 20 colleges participated in the event which guided the students and parents about their courses. Apart from the run-of-the mill courses, the students also had an opportunity to browse through new age courses such as fine arts, aviation, marine engineering and much more.
Apart from educational stalls, people also had an opportunity to go through various other stalls such as consumer durables, automobiles, FMCG etc.From the entertainment perspective Radio Mirchi organized Antakshari , “Idly’ o Idly” Challenge and a Singing contest on Day 1.
Day 2 saw the audience tapping their foot to a mega dance competition. The participant list included students from various colleges and dance schools from in and around Coimbatore. Renowned dancer cum TV personality Ms.Lavanya Shankar judged the event and gave away Rs.10, 000 cash prize to the winning team.
Sunday was the highlight of the entire exhibition as the Radio Mirchi organized “Kaun Banega Kovaipathy”, a mega quiz competition. After a proper screening test winners were asked to take one of the toughest Tamil Cinema quiz from the hot seat. The event generated a lot of curiosity among the people of Coimbatore with packed crowd at the venue watching this event. Two lucky winners walked away with loads of prizes and goodies.
