Micro Surgery device installed at Vasan eye care !


Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Coimbatore, has commissioned a state-of-the-art Phaco work station—Stellaris Micro Incision Cataract Surgery Platform.According to a hospital release, the micro incision cataract surgery is the latest cutting edge technology in cataract surgery.

This technology is very popular in Western and European countries and proved to give the best post-operative results and quick recovery.Stellar Micro Incision Cataract Surgery platform is the world’s smallest incision surgery ever to reduce incision size from 3.4 mm to 1.8 mm.

It is this small incision size that helps in restoration of patients’ original vision and image clarity under various situations.The facility was dedicated to the public by P.Umanath, District Collector on Thursday.
