200 surgeries and more to go at KG !!
Rural Industries Minister Pongalur N. Palanisamy took part in the function at which Chief Cardiac Surgeon S.K. Varma and his team were felicitated for performing these many surgeries in four months, a press release from Dr. Bakthavathsalam said.Dean of Coimbatore Medical College Hospital V. Kumaran also took part in the function.
The Minister appreciated the contribution from the hospital in saving precious lives through the insurance scheme. He said the scheme brought relief to scores of people below the poverty line, who could not afford the cost of treatment so far in the private healthcare sector.Dr. Bakthavathsalam promised the best of efforts to provide people covered by the insurance scheme with good diagnosis and treatment facilities.
