Medi Science Health Exhibition
A model high-tech operation theatre was the major attraction at the three-day 'Medi Science Health Exhibition,' which began here on Thursday.Organised by the private Ganga Medical Centre and Hospitals, the exhibition was inaugurated by District Collector P Umanath.
The exhibition was aimed at creating awareness among the people, particularly students and youth, about health care, by which India could be made a healthier place to live in, Dr S Raja Sabapathy, Director of the hospital told reporters, on the sidelines of the inaugural function.
Besides awareness on nutrition and obesity, the expo is showcasing the latest technology on health care system.Over 1,000 school children have already visited the expo 'being held for a social cause, he said.Corporation commissioner Ansul Mishra was among the early visitors to the exhibition.
